Kate Simonson - Controller

Kate joined Empire Pacific's Accounting Department in June of 2007. Her primary responsibilities are to deal with the financial end of the business. This includes but is not limited to month-end processing, financial statement preparation and dealing with auditors and bankers. Kate has 20 years of financial analysis, auditing and accounting experience in the insurance and health care fields. She graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an Accounting focus, and has earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.

Michelle Pereira - Accounting Representative

Michelle is the Accounting Representative, handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, as well as other accounting functions. Prior to joining Empire Pacific in 1999, she worked for a large interstate trucking firm in the Accounting and Credit Department.

Tracie W. Gnam - Administrative Assistant

Tracie joined Empire Pacific in February of 2006 as our Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. Currently, her primary role involves providing administrative assistance to the Accounting Department. Her prior experience was in the medical field as a Clinical Research Coordinator where she conducted clinical trials on investigational medications. She has also worked as a Receptionist for a Rheumatology clinic.
